Vintage photo conservation:
We recently started a project to archive a number of photographs, paintings, prints and letters that date from the 19th century, documenting one of our ancestral lines. Examples below are digital photographs of original gelatin-silver prints, oil paintings, and color lithographs.

About:
Over 50 years photographing landscapes, cityscapes, architecture, coastal scenes, and nature as a hobby. Retirement brings about the opportunity to display existing work and add new images to the portfolio.
Philosophy:
Prime lens photography in most cases, with minimal post processing to create the images seen here. For scanned film images, we used 4000 to 4800 DPI resolution to capture grain from the originals.
Cameras:
Nikon D750, Bronica ETRSi, Nikon F2, Nikkormat FTN, Retina Reflex IV
